Love Is A Never Ending Feeling

It's my anniversary..and my husband is wonderful.  I can't get enough him and his cute dimples.
I LOVE ME SOME HIM!!!!
I got dressed in a hurry this morning, I woke up at 3am and could not go back to sleep..when I finally did fall asleep it was time to get up and I didn't have a lot of time to get dressed.  Times like these I turn toward the quick fit = tights & tank.  The blazer, boots, and hat dress it up a bit.  I don't know if I'm a huge fan of this tank it makes me look like I have a pooch could be the pose I guess but...not cute..

It's So Hard To Say Goodbye..

With my birthday approaching (July 29th) I  find myself thinking more and more about my age.  29 = the last of my 20's.  I'm still debating on breaking out the anti-wrinkle cream ;-).  I don't think I really cared or thought about my age too much until now.  With 29 approaching I find myself being more critical about certain things, and worrying more about certain aspects of my life.  But I am an obsessive planner so I guess I can attribute some of my worries to that as well.
But when it all comes down to it I have so much to be thankful for and I truly am!!!

I Like My Scraves In Bows

I'm a huge fan of scarves and wearing them different ways. This skinny scarf from Express is perfect for bow's.  This over-sized shirt was on sale at H&M and I just went up a couple of sizes for the over-sized feel, pretty comfy.  I wear high heels pretty much everyday so typically on Friday's I like to give the feet a rest.  I love these Dolce Vita For Target Oxfords so much I have all three different styles.

Curvy Girl Jean Chronicles

Click Picture: Joe's Skinny  Jeans Honey Fit 158.00

Being a curvy girl, I have had a hard time finding jeans that fit  right. Some tend to gap in the front or sag in the booty because I usually have to go up a size to accommodate my hips. Having jeans tailored is an option but I don't always want to have every pair of jeans that I buy taken in.  One day while shopping I stumbled upon a pair of Joe's Jean Honey Fit.  These jeans are amazing for curvy girls, a little splurge but definitely worth it.  I own a couple of pair of Honey Fit's and I LOVE them!

However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind as a curvy girl rockin' skinny's or any jeans for that matter:

1.) Dark colors are a must: black, grey, dark washes.  Light washed jeans tend to make curvy girls appear larger no matter the jean cut/style.

2.) Choose your top wisely: I personally love dolman tops right now.  Tops that are loose fitting are more flattering when paired with skinny jeans.  Clingy/tight tops are no bueno!

3.) Choose the correct size: Gapping and saggy backs are not cute! No camel toe either ladies..

4.) Add Height: Other shoe selections can work but heels will elongate your legs.

5.) Remember to wear a belt: Show your curves, I'm a big fan of my curves and love belts they  help!

Levi's also has reasonably priced jean's for the curvy woman and the sizes go up to a 17:  Levis 528 Curvy

Rachel Roy's Fall 2011 Collection

I have never been one to show a lot of skin. I always looked older because of my body shape/type so I always tried to remain as covered as possible.  I think it carried over into adulthood.  I prefer to show off my curves vs. showing too much skin.  Which is why I love Rachel Roy's Fall 2011 Collection, the collection embodies nothing but classiness. The cut's, prints, and colors are so pleasing to me. The knee length skirts I appreciate. The collection is simple, but yet so structured with bold details and layering which I  think  makes the collection.  I'm a simple kinda gal (sometimes) and I dig it!

I tend to like Rachel Roy's designs in general. She also has Rachel Rachel Roy which has affordable pieces.  Her shoes are very cute and affordable and I must say they are comfortable as well.  You can find great statement pieces in her jewelry collection and some of her sale items aren't too shabby either.

Vintage Bag Finds

Lately, I have been getting into shopping for vintage bags.  Like the bags my mama use to wear when I was a little girl.  I was lucky enough to find a vintage Dooney & Bourke Equestrian Calvary Bag in close to mint condition.  I  found mine on EBAY for about 25.00 but there are thrift stores in L.A. and San Francisco that have great vintage bags. Return Engagement a consignment store in Redondo Beach always has nice vintage bag finds in great condition.  Online at  Horse Keeping they also have great vintage Dooney & Bourke bags.  The bag that I have runs about 90.00 on horsekeeping depending on the condition.

I love my Over-sized Vintage Coach Bucket Bag another EBAY find, my mama use to have a blue one and a couple of other colors.  Brings back great memories and its so big it fits everything!!
