Love these Over-sized Cross Earrings from Flea Market Girl they are one of my favorite items at the moment!!!
The hubby looked at my outfit this morning and said, "Cutoffs at work"..I thought hmmmm maybe I should change..then I snapped back to reality and thought who am I kidding I work at a chill University and see a lot of things worst than these shorts...I did turn down the cuff for work though ..ha!!!

But My Curls Are Nice
I had a totally different outfit with this dress planned in my head. I got this maxi at H&M in the Summer and put it on this morning and it didn't fit the way I remembered. It was big...and pumped my head up a bit but I haven't lost THAT much weight since I purchased it. I belted it at the waist and bloused it at the top..and it actually came out decent!!! Oh, and my curls do look nice...

I Have Skills..No Need To Review The Pictures I Take
That is what the husband said to me this morning while taking the pictures..too funny!! I did add tights to this outfit for work purposes, and although I am pretty conservative when it comes to my clothes especially my skirts. But I don't think this skirt is that short so I wouldn't reach for tights when wearing this skirt.
I bought the skirt last year for a trip. It's from F21 and this is my first time wearing it. I am committed to wearing things that I don't normally wear in my closet yayyyy meee!!!

Taking A Chill Pill In My Grandma's Dress
Lately I have been having so much anxiety (but all with good reason) or so I think!!! I'm such a planner..I plan everything..I planned our wedding..I'm always planning my next career move, I plan all of our trips down to where to eat etc. etc., I plan dinner for the week..I could go on and on. The hubby is the total opposite!! But I think once I turned 29 anxiety hit...what is our next step? what if our next step doesn't go as planned? so on and so on..being far from my family at this point has also caused some of my anxiety. My hub's and my mama are some of the best pep talkers I know and the reality is that everything can't be planned and things don't always go as planned and that's life!!
So on that note, I'm taking a chill pill!!!
My grandma passed away my first month of college in 2000..she was an awesome woman and how I miss her so. She is one of the main reasons I am the woman I am today. She was so smart, and her style was impeccable so fierce..she was a seamstress and how I wish I would have learned to sew. I am thankful that I have a couple of her pieces that she made and wore. This dress was one of her dresses she would wear on the weekends to go help out at the church and run errands and I feel like such a lady!!!
I doubt I will ever dry-clean this dress!!!!

Maxed Out Tuesday
This outfit is a simple one, maxi's are so comfortable and that is what I needed today...COMFORT!!

Beyonce and Solange attended the J. Crew Fashion show for Spring 2012 at NYFW.
I am a total Beyonce FAN/STANS whatever you want to call it!!!
I am torn on this look it's cute but I am not a fan of the sagging top half of the dress..the padding is a bit off and the dress began to slip off the shoulder a bit, I do however love the belted look with the little baby bump peeking out and the nude Louboutin peep-toes that complete the look..did I mention I love her!!!
Solange's style is always so cool to me, she pulls off and pairs things that would not necessarily work for anyone else.She is just so chill and laid back, and if you ever get the chance to watch her spin you won't be disappointed.
I love the pairing of the pink blouse and blue silky pants a Fall trend with the green sandals and the natural look she rocks.
Beyonce and Solange also attended the Vera Wang Show and Beyonce changed into a leather top with a frayed and tulle skirt, and although I am not Crazy in Love with this look she werkssss it phasionably preggers..BOOOM!!!

Flat Out
I wear heels pretty much on a daily basis. Lately I find myself wishing I owned more flats, my feet need a break every now. Today my outfit was pretty chill, all black with

Fall Into Friday
Hoorayyyy, it's Friday and a 3 day weekend! It has been warm in the Bay Area this week, and that makes me happy! My outfit today reminded me of Fall...Olive Green, Brown, and Beige are some of my favorite Fall colors..
I picked up this Orange lipstick from Mac
called So Chaud, and at first I was "So Scared" because it looked like a really really bright orange. It turns out that it isn't that bright. I lined my lip with a brown liner and put So Chaud over that and it is the perfect orange lippie color for Fall.
